what you'll get is a tn or a list of tn's.. if your system is an opt 11 (on the wall) you'll just need the 1st and last part of the number 3 0 0 4 would be card 3 port 4...3 4
if the system is larger you'll the the number as out put 40 3 5 14..

same load

req: prt
type tnb
tn .. the tn of the set you just printed

you'll see the phone your trying to change

look for a line simlar to

key 0 scr 4016 (digital set)
or dn 4016 (analog set)

your almost there

same load

req: chg
type get that answer from the print ie 2616 500 3903 etc
tn get that answer from the print ie 4 2 or 40 0 0 1

then type the line you need to modify

return all the way back to the req prompt.. if you run into problems, post the prt of the dn/tn and i'll walk you through it...remember have fun

First, are they digital or analog?

Below is an example of a digital easy change.
>ld 11

REQ: chg
TYPE: 2616
TN 002 0 00 14
ECHG yes
ITEM key 00 SCR 4011
MARP
CPND
VMB
KEY ?

The extention is extended to a key, in this case Key 00. Should you have a second extention on that phone you would do the same for the next Key with the question mark. Let us know if this helps or has confused you more.
