I am trying to change 4 extension #'s on my magix but it will not let me. I have a 412 TDL card in slot 01 and the 4 extension that i want to use says that they are already being used on ports 121-122-123-124 but will not let me change them. Is there any way to change those to something else so I can use those extensions?

Bear in mind that MLX & TDL extensions all have a "phantom number" associated with them. (That is, if the system was originally programmed with the "SET UP SPACE" option.)

I always start by doing a print of the Extension Directory.

The phantom number you see associated with the Extension is for the ADJUNCT and it is usually 200 numbers higher than the original extension number.

For example, the first TDL Extension port probably started life as 7100 and it's adjunct extension is 7300.

Knowing that info, you can re-number your old extensions to their ORIGINAL number and then swap around the numbers you want to get the results you need.

However, if the system was originally numbered in the 3 digit range, you may be required to set up space and then start over.
