Changing existing Group in Crystal with VB at runtime

hi..
how can i Changing existing Group in Crystal with VB at runtime, for example :
firstime i made group by name , after runtime i will change that group by year, is that can happen using CR and VB...?, please help me...!

I'd be interested in the response to this one as well - I'm trying to achieve the same thruogh Delphi 5. At the moment I am adding groups to replicate the effect.

Here are the steps you need to take:

Create a prompt with the options you want to Group By.

Then, create a Formula that returns a different field based
on the prompt.

Then, Group on that Formula instead of on a specific field.

Feed the parameter value via your VB app to Crystal.
