Changing Excel 2 Word pasting default.

An interesting problem. Whenever pasting an Excel chart into Word, the system defaults to pasting an "excel object".
Is there a way to change the default to pasting a picture instead?
Our objective is to prevent email recipients from opening our word documents and having full access to our spreadsheets. Yes I know there is an option in paste-special, but some of our users barely remember how to paste little less how to paste special.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Tony, why don't you create an additional menu item or toolbar button called Paste Chart? Too many users?
