I have a couple questions about dpi (dots per inch for other newbies like me)...
I am looking for some simple images to put on a tee shirt. The printer wants images that are 200 dpi or higher.
As you might know, most images (gif or jpg) that you can pull off the net are much lower than 200 dpi.
* Can you increase the dpi of an existing image through Fireworks?
* How can you check the dpi on an existing image?
* The maximum size for the image is 12" wide X 14" high. Is the dpi affected if you change the image size? Are there any good tips for increasing/decreasing image size (like only increasing by 100%/decreasing by 50% at a time and sharpening image each time before continuing)
