Working on a book, and created a ToC for the book. The ToC normal style I used has a leader after the entry but before the page number, and it's a series of dots. I want the leader to just be blank space, and I've tried everything under the sun to get the dots to go away, but they won't. I was under the impression that if I edited the style and went to Indent/Tabs that the Leading menu would say "...", but it says none. I tried to change it so that the dots would be removed but they're still hanging around. What am I doing wrong, and how can I change this?

Please help. This is urgent.

Hi

You did everything right. but to change the dotted lines you must select the tab rulers in the tab menu.
The little arrows on the tab menu all can have different settings. Probably at tyhe end of the line you will see a small arrow if you click on you will see the the "...." in the leading menu

hope this helps
