Is there an easy way to change digital to ip instruments,
using OTM lets say we have to move 1000 TN's

No, you have to out them and build new sets for IP. but there is probably a lot of good tricks for how to setup the system again. The problem is the layout for each telephone, if you use alot of bfs and acd and so on, it makes it more diffcult to find a fast way to build a new automatic structure.

Just build the IP phones with the same DN and have them MARP to the IP phone. Then when you have time delete the digital phones... IP phones uses Virtual TN, so you can't use the same TN that the digitals are on anyway

The only problem I see here is you might not have enough TN licenses...

janeenaj is right about TN's but that is also a problem in OTM as well as the succession. If you change 1000 digital to ip licenses you most likely have used a converting programme from Nortel changing digital to ip licenses. Then you have a small problem regarding licenses on the succession. The moment you upgrade/downgrade licenses you will decrease digital TN licenses and get new IP licenses. The moment you upgrade the succession with these new keycodes the system will automaticly out the number of digital tn's you now "don't" have licenses for if you haven't outed the yourself. In OTM you could build as janeenaj says, but then you have to have the double amount of TN licenses in OTM that you actually need.
