Changing default print orientation

I'm using CR XI.

When editing the reports in CR, I set the page orientation to landscape but when printing, it sometimes prints portrait by default. I assumed the print orientation would be the same as the page orientation like it has always been but something must have changed. Currently people need to manually change the print orientation so it will print right. This isn't a huge problem but I'd rather have reports print like they're supposed to. Any suggestions or know a permanent fix to this?

This has to do with the users printing to a printer that is different from the one that the report is defaulted to at design time. I don't have a copy of XI handy so I can't check, but I believe the option to format the report for "No Printer (optimize for screen diplay) is available there - go to File|Page Setup in Crystal and there should be a checkbox at the top to turn this on. See if that helps your situation. If it doesn't, you may have to look at installing any service packs for your version of Crystal.

A computer only does what you actually told it to do - not what you thought you told it to do.
