We have tried to "change" DECT numbers in an MD110 BC12 SP8 by using the CXAKE command and then the CXAKI command (including the AUTPAR - 48 HEX digits).
I realized that it was impossible for the DECT handsets to re-register with the new numbers, so I had to end the number by CXAKI and re-initate with CXAKI (with both IPEI and AUTKEY). Hereafter it worked OK.
But it should be possible to - "automatically change" numbers, or?
Any hints or comments?

I added some info to clarify this issue:

I expected the change of DECT extension numbers in MD110 BC12/TSW to work w/o problems.

So just deleting the DECT extension number:

CXAKE:DIR=4711;
Y;
GEDIE:DIR=4711;
Y;

and initiating it again with a new number:

GEDII:DIR=5312,LIM=1,CSP=40;

CXAKI:DIR=5312,AUTPAR=1ABF694FD8742D7C100FB36F1ABF694FD8742D7C100FB36F;

This does not work, as the DECT handset says "system blocked" in the display.

Instead this command needs to be sent:
CXAKI:DIR=5311,AUTKEY=1234,IPEI=0000707404102;

and the handset need manually to be re-registered.
Hints?

Never heard that your described operation should work. The AUTPAR value, as far as I now remembers, is a value that the CTLP calculates out of the IPEI, GEDIR and some randomizing function.

Hi etompau

Maybe you're right.
But I hoped that this would work out, as the AUTPAR does not include the extension number. The AUTPAR, I thought, should include the IPEI, the SARI/PARI and the PARK codes.
But maybe the AUTPAR also includes the extension number?

It is not a problem to delete (end) a DECT extension, and use the same extension number together with the AUTPAR!

Do you think that we can "rewerse" engineer the AUTPAR to get the IPEI? This would help a lot.
Maybe there is a formula for this?
