My access database date-time field is currently set to: mm/dd/yyyy eg. 05/01/2009. Is there a way to change all the records to YYYY/MM/DD EG. 2009/05/01.

Thanks again for your help.

In the form design view, right click the control, select properties, and specify the format as yyyy/mm/dd.

will,

All that is is a DISPLAY feature. Your DATE/TIME values are NUMBERS, like right now in North Texas its 39945.46258 which can be FORMATTED, for display purposes, any number of ways, including 2009/05/12.
