Does anyone know if it's possible to change the location or creation of a new Arcserve database.

I've checked the current Servers on my inherited site and they've got Win2000 Server(SP2) & Arcserve 2000(SP2) with databases set to C:\

The Database files are located elsewhere and the security on them was incorrect and I had to correct that.

Hope anyone knows a fix rather than me re-installing Arcserve on 10 Servers.

Bad News.

I know you run 2000, not 6.61, but my knowledge of the Arcserve database and architecture leads me to believe that the above doc applies equally for your case.
Note that the REGISTRY KEYS are different for 6.61 and 2000.
The VLDB is used in both 6.61 and 2000.
Call support to be sure, but I belive you'll be re-installing...
Let me know how it goes.

Jim,

Thanks for your input on the matter, I thought that may be the case of re-installing the product again.

I think that may be the best option as it's not configured as I'd like, so it looks like I'm doing some overtime this week.

Regards

Neil
