Hello all
I have a fair number (25+) of reports that have been created using Crystal 8.5 and have been running perfectly against a production server. We have recently added a reporting server, but I am having to use a different ODBC connection to get the data. I was using a Remedy ODBC b/c the production server was a Remedy server. The reporting server however, is an Oracle server, and although I have a new server and new ODBC connection, most of the field names remain unchanged between the two servers.
I was wondering if there is a quick way to either:
a) verify the old reports against a new database. so I would only have to change a few field names and could leave the formulas after touching them up with the new values
b) export the formulas and selection strings so I don't have to re-do everything.
I'm hoping I don't have to re-create all the reports, as this would take some time. Does anyone have any ideas/advice?
TIA
Brad
