Changing Customer ID

We have a division that's using Peachtree for Manufacturing 2004. I've worked with it for awhile and saw that I can easily change the Customer ID on-the-fly. We want to update the Customer ID from another ERP system running on SQL. Since PT is running on P/SQL, what's the best way to update the Customer ID - import from SQL or is there a mass update of Customer ID from a txt/csv file?

Since nobody can answer my first question probably this would be easier.

Is it possible to import Customer ID then update the existing IDs?
