Hi,
I'm a beginner with Call Manager 7 and need some help.
this is a Hotel in Spain. The Director wants to block all the rooms extensions.
when the reception makes the customer check in, I have to change the CSS (calling search space) on the Directory number.
CSS Block to CSS Allow. So they can make outside calls.

I want the receptionist to be able to block/allow Directory Number without having to access call manager.
Or given access only to the Call Manager DN configuration.

Any idea?

You need to get a PMS (property mgmt system)to do that funcyion. Every hotel has one. It just has to be one that supports call manager.

As an alternative, you could use Extension Mobility. Have the room phones setting there with an Extension with a CSS Block on it. Then the receptionist could give the patron the PIN to log into EM where the profile has a CSS Allow on the extension. The Login URL could be on a button on the room phone so a quick push of the button and a PIN entry and the phone is logged in.

thanks!
Our PMS doesn't support call manager, either our current budget ! :)

I will try the extension Mobility.
