Changing Credentials Error

Since a recent update, users are no longer able to change credentials without manually closing any open MIMS screens. Before this update, when a user changed credentials, MIMS closed any open windows for them.

Our work-around has been for users to 'logoff' and then 'logon' which results in the windows being closed for them, but the change is proving to be a training problem with people confusing 'logoff' and 'close' in the MIMS explorer. Could I have missed something in the OBMH or registry that would have caused this?

Glen,

by changing credentials do you mean changing 'Positions' (i.e. User Profile)?. If so then you'll find that the only way to bug out of a profile in the MIMS 4.3.1.2 GUI is indeed to logoff and log back on again.

If you are using 'green screen' (CICS) try MSO004 to change profiles or positions.
