I am trying to change a convertion number so that the number comming in changes to a different number. I have never done this before and when I tried it I could not answer the prompts. Can you please give me the steps. I don't know weather to use FCR or IDC and I don't know what to put in DNCO.
Thank you

Hello. You can you an IDC table to do this. You will also have to associate the IDC table you create with the route block for the T1 that the numbers are coming in on. That is done in LD 16 by doing a change on the RDB associated with the T1. There is a prompt that says IDC, you want to enter yes and then it will ask you for the DCNO, which is the IDC table number you created in LD 49.

In LD 49, here are the steps to create an IDC table.

REQ: NEW or CHG if modifying an existing table
TYPE: IDC
DCNO: Enter the table # here you want to create. 0 is the default and should already exist, so use 1 or another number if you want to create a new one.
IDGT: Enter the digits that are coming in that you want to and hit enter. For example let's say you want to change 8400 to 6400, enter 8400 here. It will now show 8400, now you would enter 6400 here and hit enter.
I believe it will come back to the IDGT prompt so you can keep entering digits, otherwise just hit enter to get back to REQ:

I believe you can also do a range of numbers by entering the first and last numbers in the range after the IDGT prompt, which will cause it to prompt you for each number in the range until you enter a number for them all. Something like this.

IDGT: 8400 8405
8400 6400
8401 6401
8402 6402
8403 6403
8404 6404
8405 6405
