changing control set dn

can anyone please help in finding how to change the control set dn on a bcm. customer wanted to remove the "service on" on the display of this extension. they wanted this to be moved on a different extension instead. just really wanted to know how to do it. i tried changing the control set on all the lines but still the service on is still on her extension. do i also need to change the prime set since her extension is also defined as the prime set.

You need to determine which service is on. the default control set covers a lot of territory for both lines and sets. Is it Ringing services, Restriction services, or Routing service.

thanks, MarvO1. When i do a view on the service, is says routing sched 5. I already went on to change the lines' control set but still service is turned on on that dn. do i also need to change the prime set? i kinda hoping i can replace it with just one command.

i'm thinking what if i change that dn xx1 (control set) with another dn but on the same port and then program another port with the same dn xx1. just don't what will happen and if it will change the control set the dn i replaced.

Did you program the "ringing service" button on the new control set, and delete it from the original?
