I'm pretty new to Indesign and want to make my final report for graduation something special. So i thought i make it in Indesign and add some nice colors and design. The idea is to give each chapter a different color. The layout of all the pages will be the same, just a few stripes and a ractangle shape. I thought the best thing to do was to create several master sheets for each chapter with different colors. When i copy a master and try to change the colors of a line or shape it just keeps jumping back to the original color, or just turn black. I have no idea why it's not responding to my new colors. And it's driving me crazy! *lol* Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Are you creating NEW master sheets for each chapter? ID allows you to have several masters, and allows you to select whichever one you want for any page.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
