I am switching over from quark and in quark you can have a b&w image that is in a pic box and you can change the colors in the program of just that item by selecting the item and the color. I can not find out how to do this in indesign. It only changes the box color or the stroke of the box. I know in quark the file had to be a .tiff. Any Sugestions/

Thanks,
PT

You are using the direct selection arrow and you select the box not the content.
Try using the direct selection arrow (just right in toolbox)at this way you can change the color in B&W images.

Sorry, my english it´s no so good.
