Changing CID LD95 and correct syntax 1

Here's one I'm sure is simple to Meridian users, but I've just had our PBX duties thrust upon me. I need to change the CID on a phoneset. I understand the LD I probably need to use is LD95 but I'm not sure of the syntax needed to accomplish the change. Everything I've tried so far has not worked. Any "step-by-step" would be very appreciated as I am very green on the Meridian.

First out the name you want to change.

LD 95
req out
type name
cust 0
dig enter
dn enter the extension

Programming a new name:

LD 95
req new
type name
cust 0
dig enter
dn enter the extension
