I seem to remember a function in Word that will change the case of highlighted text from all caps to lower case, or, even capitalizing the first word in a sentence, but, I can't remember where it is, or find info on it. Can you help?

Try Format/Change Case from the menu bar (if you are working in a document and not in code).

Thanks, Larry. That helped. I was looking for a function that would allow me to leave the first letters in sentences capitalized, but, that will just have to do. :) Better than nuttin'.

Hello Sliptdisk,

Actually, Larry had it correct "Format" select "Change Case" then select "Sentence Case" this will then Capitalize the first letter in the sentence.

I think the function you are looking for is proper()

Good Luck,
Michael

Excellent. Thanks! Now, I'm the office guru, again. :)

Just an extra tip.

Try selecting the text and using Shift+F3

That will cycle through the different case formatting options. It's much quicker than using the menus.

Even better! I think that's the one I remember from way back, on a tip of the day, or something - a couple of years ago. Thanks.
