How do I change the interface on a callpilot 150 from the callpilot interface to the norstar voice mail interface. do I need to Re-initialize the voicemail? the reason I need to change is because I have people on another location that leave messages for about 80 people by pressing the # on the AA and then leaving a message, after that they are not routed back to the AA, so they can press # again to leave a personalized message for some else, instead they must call again to the AA and press # again. I have no problems on another site that has a NAM.

What you need to do is set RETURN TO AA= YES!

Login to mail via F983 with your password, Press AA, Press Grtg,AA, make the change from N to Y then you will be able to * out and return to greetings etc.

Thanks curlycord,

I went ahead and change the RETURN TO AA to yes and it is still not working, for some reason I believe the changes are not taken affect immediately, because I also tried to change the rings on my pri lines coming thrue the AA from 0 to 2 , and I am not getting that to work either, it keeps answering immediately before it rings. I think I will tried to the changes thrue the callpilot manager on a computer. Any other help is welcome.

in teh callpilot , every mailbox has a parameter caller UI ...choose NVM or CP depending on the requirement.

for the PRI to be answererd by AA ... are u programming the answer setting on the target line starting from 157 (rel6) or line 145 (prev releases)

I miss read your post,...Yes you would need to re install for NVM interface instead of CP however like senk1s says you can change each user but not so sure that will resolve the issue you are having since the main mail is in CP mode.
You would need to re-train the users.

When you say you changed Return to AA=Yes do you still use # or did you try * to get out of a mailbox?

Techs in my opinion should only startup interface in CP mode incase a bunch of users migrate off an M1 (that has Call Pilot) to a Norstar system....for instance a batch employees leaves Head Office to work at a new smaller remote office with Norstar being installed.
If one employee migrates then do senk1s suggestion and put the single users mail box into CP mode or this employee has a mailbox at both locations and to keep it simple that users mailbox interface is CP to match the one at Head Office.

In my opinion CP mode is terrible, I have nothing good to say about it....absolutley nothing! and that goes for Meridian Mail too!

No you don't need to re-install. Use the web interface to change it. Go to configuration then system properties. The option for interface is towards the bottom of the list. Change that and you are all set. It worked on mine anyway.

I have gone from NVM to CP and back to NVM with no problem.
I am on a CP100 with Rls 2.

Thanks, I will try this and let you guys know how it went.
