Changing battery in STS

I have a bad battery in the STS never changed one out what I have read from other forms is that is commen in the STS. Question do you have to take out the mother board? Or can you install it from the front?

Hi,
We recently ordered and replaced the battery. On our system it was necessary to remove the circuit board from the system cabinet. The battery was re-soldered onto the board. (Our system is a Starplus DHS.
