Hi,

I'd like to make my web pages viewable by visually impaired people without compromising the layout of the site. I gather large yellow text on a black background is best.

So basically I'd like to be able to have a button which the visitor can click and the text that is already contained on the html page will be re-displayed in the desired font etc?
I'm not sure that this can be done in client side scripting and have a nasty feeling that in order to re-display a page I'd have to use server side scripting (ASP)?

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in anticipation )

Hi

It sounds like a server-side solution to me.

An easy way to do it would be to have a booelan value telling you if you should have a large font-set or not, and then do an If-test, and include one of two possible stylesheets based on the result.

Hi Dianal,

This does look very promising )

Thank you - I've d/l the script.

Jim

PS Thanks also to Palooka for the reply.

I'd just like to let Dianal know that using this technique worked beautifully!! On behalf of myself and the visually impaired, thank you so much for that!)
