I was wondering if there is a way to change the background color in outlook and word from the default white.

Thanks

I am fairly oblivious to programming and the such, but you could probably format background to a color and then save it as normal.doc.

You can select from the Format menu, Background, <choose color> in Word...don't use Outlook, personally, so can't say for sure. Probably has something to do with stationary, etc.

Here's an easy way to change the background color of Outlook and Word, and most other Windows's applications:

Edit the Windows Display Properties:

a) Start-Settings-Control Panel-Display
b) Click on the Appearance tab.
c) Then click on the white area of the sample Active Window.
d) Click the color button.
e) Select a color and shade of your choosing.
f) OK out of the Display Properties dialog.
