Changing AVAYA G430 ip address and subnet

Can anyone shed some light on changing the ip and g/w on a G430 after initial set up has been performed? No interface vlan 1 doesn't allow me to, it's telling me it's associated with layer 3. The issue with complete reset of the gateway are the announcements that reside on the gateway. there's got to be an easy way to change an ip address as maintenance procedure post install
