I want to change the application icon and it doesn't seem to be working. I went into the application object's properties and clicked on the 'Icon' tab. I selected the new icon by using the 'browse...' button, clicked on apply and saved the application object. I also regenerated the object. When I selected the new icon I noticed that the icon did not appear in the space below the 'browse..' button. If I select my old icon it does appear. When I run the application, my windows still show the old icon in the upper left corner of the windows title bar.

I'm using PB 6.5.

Why won't the new icon show up?

You can try...
1) Make sure your entry is the file name only (no drive/path designation to the file itself).
2) Is the file referenced in the application pbr?

I went and changed the entry to the file name only in the applications properties window. However, it still does not show the new icon.

My application does not have a pbr file. Nor did it have one in the past. If the application requires a pbr file, then why did the last icon that was set in the properties dialog box work, even when there was not pbr file?

Thanks for your help on this.

Keith

When you removed the drive/path, is the file in the same folder as the pbl?

Yes, the .ico file is in the same folder as the pbl.
