Changing Analog to IP

We have several DN's that were not going to be used and as a default they were put in as Analog well the DN really needs to be assigned to a IP Phone, I thought that if you activated the DN it would just switch over. But that is not the case as it says the DN is already in use, but it is not. Is there a way to change the phone type?

You need to change the DN from the analog port to an unused IP phone dn.

Do a DN change . In active sets just go over, retype the dn you want it to be and it will change.

That is if it uses the Element manager if the Browser go to general settings and change DN.

I am using Element Manager and the DN is assigned to an analog port and I need to unassign it. to the Same DN - Say its 7792 well it was never supposed to be an analog DN it should have been an IP.
