changing amount of characters allowed in a specific field

i'm fairly new to creating databases with access, so this might be a rather simple question, but...

i have a form that is built from the information in a table that has a 'note/comments' field. how do i make this field have the ability to enter more than the 50 characters that seems to be the default.

Change the field size of the field in table design view.
