Changing alpha in Internet Explorer

I am pretty sure you can do it because I remember seeing somehwere before -- but can you change the alpha of things in IE? In Mozilla its the css property -moz-opacity -- isn't it alpha: in IE? Any help would be appreciated. ===

Filter might be what you're looking for. Try this:
