Changing AD account display names??? 1

Hi all,

Does anyone know of anyway i can standardise the display names of user acounts in active directory? at the moment i have a mixture of migrated accounts that are diplayed by logon name, and new accounts that are displayed by (firstname, secondname)

I would ideally like like to have accounts displayed as (secondname, first name)

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to

http://www.microsoft.com

and search for ADModify.NET
Download the tool. This will allow you to select all users (or just the ones you want to change) and modify the display name in bulk.

After you select All (users) choose next -> Go to General Tab ->
Click Display Name -> click the blue link above for LastName, First name. You will see %sn%, %givenName%. Click Go!

That's it...
