Is changing the AC1 or AC2 code on a Nortel just a matter of going into the ESN data block and making the change or does all the routing that uses AC1 need to be removed before making the change.

bhassell2000 is absolutely correct. As long as the number doesn't conflict with any other existing DN's (that includes, ACOD, ATDN, CDP, DSC, LSC, TSC, Extension, etc..) you'll be fine. You CANNOT remove an AC1 or AC2 code with out removing the entire ESN data block. That's a nightmare!!

have fun!!

Narsman, you can remove either the AC1 or AC2 code without losing your ESN. It's done via "pdt". However, it's usually easier to make it a 4 digit non conflicting number as stated above.

I can't post how it's done here!.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.
