I installed the driver for a HP2200d to a MAC that's on a local network. The name of the printer is called Graphics, but when installing the driver to the MAC it doesn't allow me to give that name, it lists it differently in the Chooser. How do I change the printer name? I'm a novice on a MAC.

If the printer is on the network, all you need to do is go chooser and select Laserwriter 8 and in the window next to it the printer should appear 'Grpahics'. Select the printer and hit setup, so long as the printer driver is in the System folder/extension/printer discriptions the printer will set it's self up. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

Not sure what you mean Lisa. If you want to rename the printer on the desktop, you can just click it and rename it.

If you mean rename the printer itself so that the Appletalk name is different on the network (i.e. in Chooser), download the HP Laserjet Utility which can rename your 2200. This will change the name for everyone so they'll all need to set their printers up again.
