Changing a mailbox password

One of our employees forgot her mailbox password. How can I reset this? It seems like an easy question but I haven't been able to find an answer to it by looking at the BMS tool, documentation and internet searches. :S

And the standard/default password will be 1234, or the setting in sys par 105 of any VMX/OCTEL 100/200/300 voice mail system.

can you pls tell us what voicemail system are you using.
is it an external one, ie VMX, OCTEL, ONEBOX etc etc

or an internal one such as Ericsson IVM

It's an internal one in the Ericsson Business Phone.

hello, according to what I read about the command "m user s" I think at work we do have an OCTEL VM.
The only command I know is that one... Are there any other interesting commands for that box? Some basic manual somewhere? Tks

In that forum you can get all the help that you need.

Try the command 0117. Deactivate the authority code and then rectivate it (the password will be default 0000)
