Question 1:
I am a bit confused. I read on the Juniper site that the ScreenOS 5.0.0r8 changed the GRE (PPTP) behavior, but what exactly does this mean?
I have remote clients using Comcast.net (Dynamic IP) trying to remotely connect to work and not succeeding. Would someone tell me if this is the change Juniper is referring to when they mentioned in their release notes about the changes to PPTP in ScreenOS 5.0.0r8 and higher?
If I had to make a educated guess, I'd say that the systems using ScreenOS5.0.0.r8 + won't accept a dynamic IP from the untrust to the trust. Would someone confirm this for me, please?
Question 2:
If I purchased Juniper's Remote Security software, would I be able to connect from a Dynamic IP in the Untrust zone to a static IP in the trust zone?
