The company I work for just went through a name change and I was asked to change everyones default email address from @oldcompany.com to @ newcompany.com.

I can do this the hard way and go through each recipient, distribution list and manually change but I know there has to be an easier way.

I was looking at the Default Recipient Policy and thought about adding a new SMTP address, making it the default... when I do this, I am prompted but ESM to adjust each recipient, i assume all i would have to do is choose
Ok and it will update all reciepients that are mail-enabled and change appropriately??? Will it also change public folders that are mail enabled???

any help would be appriciated.

That will change all mail enabled objects except those who have the checkbox unchecked that says "automatically update..."
