A month and a half after our latest upgrade (from MM to AAM) we just discovered that two familiar AUDIX "features" are missing. The first is the '**8' (aka **U) method of restoring mistakenly deleted messages - not that it is used often but many users know the command and we had two users unsuccessfully attempt it this week only to discover that on the AAM AUDIX TUI "cheat sheet" it is no longer listed(!?).

The second "missing" feature I suspect may be a programmable option - users are no longer hearing the warning that their voice mailbox is __ percent full. Waiting several days for either Avaya or our BP to explain this so decided to ask about it here.

Marc,
You can find the AAM Audix TUI guide at: Are you running AAM 6.1 or AAM 6.2? AAM 6.2 includes additional Audix Greetings that were not in AAM 6.1.

I know that the AAM will warn you that your mailbox is full. I would need to test % full in my lab.

You do have over 2000 hours of storage on the AAM so mailbox sizes can usually be increased without concern of filling the system up.

As to the deleted message issue I am in the process of entering an Avaya GRIP change request for this feature in AAM.

I hope this helps...

Hi Marc,

Do you have an avaya documentation that you follow in implementing the upgrade from MM to AAM?

Marc

Who did the upgrade ? was it Avaya Pro services ?

ATAC informed my BP that "AAM does not have this feature today" and suggested the "GRIP" route to get it re-implemented.
