changeing the number that a phone set shows externally 2

Sorry Guys,

Very new to this some how the PBX fell into my lap, I am trying to change the number the agent set shows, when they call an external number, we have a few different clients and depending on what set is calling we need to show different numbers to show up on the call display.

Hope that makes sense, any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you're talking about a CLID table (calling line ID table). You can print the ones you have in LD 21

this is what i got so i what to change so the set shows entry 0 i want to change it so it shows entry 1.

pull up that phone and you'll see a 0 afer the ext. Do a change on the DN(which is probably key 0) and retype in the ext then space then 1. This will now reference CLID table 1. Do the same for any rollovers. If you get stuck post back. Good luck.

You can use "D", defaults to KEY 0 Value, for rollover lines, or any CLID you would like to assign to them.

I thought I knew how to change the DN, but I guess not can you point me in the right direction?

Do I use CHG at LD 20?
