I was trying to connect my desktop PC to my laptop using Wifi and changed the network from a domain to a workgroup. I restarted the PC and now it will not let me get passed the login stage because it can not verify my password on the network that I created because it does not exist. All I want to do is change the workgroup back to a domain. Is there any way that this can be done.

If you took your PC from a domain to a workgroup, then you need to enter a local computer account username/password to access it.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There may not be a local account except for the default Administrator. Your IT person should have that password, and after you log in, you can create a local account.

FYI, that local account may be inaccessible if you get back onto the domain. I suggest you place any files in the shared files folder.
