changed to quark - easy prob - text splitting in 2 at end of a line?

just changed to quark, so i have some simple quarkxpress 7 pc questions-

1. how do i make sure my text is not automatically splitting in 2 at the end of its line/text frame? i only want entire words to be visible in my articles.

2. how i give text space at both ends of its frame would also be helpful, although not as important-can this only b done via centering?

1/ Edit>H&J, edit standard, and tick off auto hyphenation


2/ Select text frame, Item>Modify then under the Text Tab change the Text Inset

As for hyphenation, you can also set this in your stylesheets once you edit the H&J preferences. And you can make multiple hypenation choices in case you may have some copy with hyphenation and some without and then set that in your stylesheets as well.
