I recently had to change the IP address and subnet of my server. Now, my Outlook 98 clients can't see the server. What am I missing?

The first point of call should be your WINS database. If the WINS database hasn't updated itself to resolve the name of the server to the new IP address, the clients won't be able to find your Exchange server.

If someone annoys you, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you'll be a mile away from them, and you'll have their shoes )

Farmboy,

1) Are the Outlook users on the same IP subnet as your updated mail server?

2) Can you Outlook users ping the mail server?

3) What kind of switch/hub do you have? You may have to rest it in order to clear the ARP cache.
