O.k. - we moved locations and installed a new DSL connection at the new site. BUT, I never changed the IP addresses of any equipment because we use NAT anyway, so they weren't affected.

Now users can't pick up POP3 mail (nor send it) and get the following message

Task 'Administrator - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

I can telnet to port 110 of the server using the private network address (sitting on that network, of course, through my VPN connection) but not to the static IP address.

Surprisingly, one of the guys went to the old location to do something else for me, plugged in his laptop to the old DSL router and all of a sudden mail just started pouring into this laptop ... no VPN connection required either.

I can't figure out what this could be ... any thoughts?

Oh - and while I can telnet to 110 from on the private network, if I try to telnet to 25 from the private network I can't .. but can telnet to 25 from the internet mail.
