I know the answer I just can't find it in my notes, I changed the name of a server after storing the key to my putty configuration, changed the name of the server and now I can't run x apps. I think it has to do with the name within the key being changed. Here is the error I get

_X11TransSocketINETConnect() can't get address for localhost:6010: Name or service not known
Error: Can't open display: localhost:10.0

I just can't seem to find the hosts or known hosts file on my windows pc to delete. I use putty to access these machines via ssh. Can any of you shed some light on this? It isn't a huge deal, worst case I will reinstall redhat.

I found these entries in the windows registry. who'd -a- thought. I think I'm ok from here. Thanks!
