I copied the itm.dbf, cat.dbf, and cit.dbf files from the most recent date of grinding which contain the correct non sales grouping information. I paste these files into the old folder of the date I want revised, over writing the files in that folder. I then delete the gnddbf30.xxx file and manually regrind by going into utilities -> regrind subdirectories -> select the date of the folder I changed the files in -> mark to regrind. But when I run the report to look at the update I see no results, however the revision dates have changed to the current time and date on the files. .

Any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

best way to regrind is this way
%iberroot%\bin\grind.exe /date 20150101 or what ever date you need. %iberroot% would be the drive letter and location if aloha like d:\bootdrv\aloha

do all from the run command

Thank you the command fo regrind works like a charm - except I am still not seeing the results I am looking for. Is it possible that it wont report out until after it runs the end of day tonight on the past dates?

You need to copy over the cit.dbf and the cat.dbf as that has your table structure for items and sales categories.

regrind after that and it should update.
