Hello. My IT person was kind enough to quit ust after we moved to a new office yesterday!

Our internet IP address changed with our new location. Now when users attempt to access the ica client they get an error:

Cannot connect to the Citrix server:
There is no Citrix Server configured on the specified
I assume I need to update our new ip address.

Am I safe in assuming I need to update the ipaddress/connection info in the ica client in our server? Can anyone tell me how to do this? I see how to create a new ica file, but how to edit an existing one.

Thanks,

Brian

This could be for any number of reasons. How are you setup? How did you access the Citrix server, before the move? Is this Citrix secure gateway or the Citrix access gateway device?

You will probably need to setup a NAT on your firewall to map the outide world to your IP address on the Citrix server. Then on the Citrix server itself you will need to reflect this NAT by running the altaddr command.

Sounded like you need to change the Server location on the 'clients' Oops!

On each client (if it the same way as ours)
Run Citrix Program Neighbourhood
File | Custom connection settings
netwotk Protocol : TCP/IP
change the server's IPs in the address list to the new ones.

If you use the server's names (instead of the IP addresses) the next time you change the IP address you won't need to change it again.

You can get the users to change it themselves.

Good luck.

Sorry if this doesn't apply to your case.
