change window xp language

hi all
i want to change windows xp operating system language currently it is chinees or janpanies (on laptop notebook with out cd drive)

an early solution is higlhly appreciate.

When you say " change the language", do you mean the language in all the menus and butons, and things in the interface appear in.
If this is the case the only way to do it is to install an english version of Windows XP, because windows unlike MACOSX does not have support for changeable interface languages. Unless anyone here knows any different.

dear i am talking about button and menu language of window Xp professional on compaq presario 800.

but that is notebook contain no CD Drive is
to install window again

is there any other way

Unfortunately there there is no ther way I'm aware of.

There might be some language packs available in Microsofts webiste, but unless someone wants to correct me here I think they are only for Welsh or something like that.

"The Windows XP/2000 MUI is sold only through Volume Licensing programs such as the Microsoft Open License Program (MOLP / Open), Select, and Enterprise agreement (or with a new computer as an OEM version at customer request). It is not available through retail channels.

Multilingual User Interface Resource Files are only sold as a bundle with the English version of Windows, to make absolutely sure customers have the English version of the OS when installing MUI.
