Change variables of another Application...

Do you know if there is a method (maybe not with Delphi) to change the value of another application variable (written in delphi) ?

or
Change the value assigned to a variable in source code.?
or
Change some property of THE Application type in Delphi
e.g application.exename; ?
or
something else?

i dunno, put in a memory buffer that the other program uses the variable for?? (note: i'm making this up as i go ) E-mail: Rob@matas.nl (till Jan 10, from then on it's Deathwish@winning.com)

I know the variable Name..but i can't change the source code ....

I can't because i don't have all the components, and it was compiled with Delphi 3 (now i only have Delphi 5... and there is some differences..), also i think some PAS are not here
