Make sure the TN you want to change to is configured on the PBX. When the 2050 boots up, at the TN field, use your mouse on the back button or place the cursor on the number and backspace to delete the old TN and put in the new TN.
which means your 2050 config is wrong or not configured, because you're not communicating with the SS. You'll not get the TN and NODE ID field till the 2050 has negociated a connection to the SS.
What do you have on your Nortel IP softphone settings?
Once you get it registered and connected to change a TN you go to the PBX LD 20 and move the TN to a new TN of your choice - then you just have to change it on the softphone app on your PC via yyrkroon's suggestion of backspace.
If you post more info we may be able to help you get it connected again.
Post your Node IP = what you use to telnet to your PBX or what you enter as IP on your other phones. Post your switch type and the port is usually 4100.
