Change the screen resolution

Hello to everyone.

I have created a VB6 application whose forms are designed to be completely visible on a screen with resolution 1024x768.
Since this application will be utilized by many users who may have different screen resolution, is it possible to set this resolution at the start of the application and restore the original at the end?

You do know that if you change resolutions to a setting that their monitor can't support, you will damage the monitor?

For example, if you change the refresh rate to 85 Hz, and the monitor only goes to 60 Hz, you will burn out some components within the monitor.
