Change the Mouse Pointer in VBScript 1

I have a simple vbscript that I run that takes a few minutes to execute and I have a message box that pops up when it finishes but sometimes it takes 10 minutes or more to complete. How can I change the cursor to an hour glass? And if that's not possible how can now if it is running.
